Composition Assignment

The Assignment: In this Composition Assignment, the class had to take 11 total pictures, each representing different elements of composition in photography. The 11 elements were symmetry, lines, depth of field, rule of thirds, pattern, texture, perspective, balance, space, color, and framing. These are the basic elements of composition that we will be using throughout the rest of the trimester.

What we learned: In this assignment we learned the basic elements of photography, not just composition. We learned the 11 elements of composition, how to work our digital cameras, and how to use them in relation to our computers. These things are going to be the basis for this class over the period of the next trimester, and will help us tremendously.
